Just Us Girls #816 - Anything Goes Stencil Week

 It's time to pull out those stencils again for Just Us Girls Anything Goes Stencil Week!

I want to say Thank You to Milla whose has joined us this past month with all of her amazing designs!  Hop on over to JUGS to see what Milla and the rest of our talented Design Team have created with stencils this week.

Pretty simple!  Stenciled the yellow polka dots on the center of the white card base then added the unknown cluster of balloons and inlaid the orange plastic Shimmer Sheet pieces for shiny balloons.  Stamped the sentiment and punched out with a word window punch.

Just Us Girls #815 - Moodboard

 It's Moodboard Week at Just Us Girls with Carol Mayne as our hostess and she has chosen a real beauty for us this week.

Embossed the black cardstock with a floral ef and colored in the images on the debossed side with Sakura Moonlight gel pens.  Die cut the happy from some pink cardstock and then stamped the little birthday on the same cardstock in black, trimmed around the stamping and layered over the lower part of the die cut sentiment.  Layered onto a light green card base.

Just Us Girls #814 - Word Week

 It's time for Word Week at Just Us Girls with Bobby as our fabulous hostess and she has chosen the word Emboss!

I started out with a floral embossing folder and embossed a textured piece of purple cardstock.   The I rubbed a white ink pad over the raised areas making the flowers and leaves pop.  Embossed the sentiment on a piece of vellum in silver and used a purple Brilliance ink pad and swiped it across the back side to color the vellum.  Adhered the vellum piece onto the back side of the embossed panel and put it together onto a very old piece of hoarded SU Vintage Violet for the card base.

Just Us Girls #813 - Die Week

It's Die Week at Just Us Girls and the word(s) is Lucky/Green

Hop on over to JUGS to welcome our Guest Designer for the month of March, Milla and to check out the inspiration created by Milla and the rest of our amazing Design Team.

Die cut the unknown shamrock and smooshed it on to some Lindy's Magicals spritzed with water on my kraft matt.  Stenciled some shamrocks onto a white background, added a strip of washi tape and stamped the sentiment in a dark green.  Put it together on a green card base.

Just Us Girls #811 - Moodboard Week

 It's Moodboard Week at Just Us Girls with Lisa as our lovely hostess and she has chosen a beauty for our inspiration!

I was drawn to the delicate flowers and colors.  I had some Opalite reinker sitting on my desk for some unknown reason, so I squirted some onto my craft mat and smeared a piece of watercolor paper over it getting a soft almost marbled looking background.  Some masking and stamping with the Gina K. A Year of Flowers embossed with platinum ep.  Added some watercolor to the images.  Couldn't find a card base to match, so inked the edges of a white card base with some Peeled Paint DI.  Finished by stamping the sentiment.

It's Word Week at Just Us Girls with our lovely hostess, Carol Mayne!  Carol has chosen the very timely word Valentine.

Using Concord & 9th for the rocket and sentiment.  Added some Stickles to the flames and window.  Die cut the striped heart and framed with another double cut heart.  The background with stamped with a very old Cornish Heritage polka dot background stamp with red ink.

Just Us Girls #809 - Die Week

 It's for Die Week at Just Us Girls with me as your hostess!  I am challenging everyone to use a heart die somewhere on their creation.  Pretty simple with Valentine's Day just around the corner.

Since it's the first week of a new month, that means a new Guest Designer!  Please welcome Denise Morgans who will be creating along with the rest of our talented Design Team for the entire month of February.

This is for one of my five grandsons.  Die cut the coverplate from red.  Die cut 2 sizes of hearts and stamped the polka dots on the smaller one with red ink.  Added some red Stickles for the frosting on the donut and added some little heart "sprinkles".

More encouragement for my sister as she continues her recovery from numerous surgeries on her leg and with one more to go if all goes well.  The last time I used the frog from this Gina K set and this one uses the adorable koala bear.  Using up more patterned paper from my very large stash.  Colored with alcohol ink markers and then sponged Distress Ink in Faded Jeans around the image.

Using a Tim Holtz Heartbeat die and backed with red glitter paper.  Stamped the sentiment from Reverse Confetti and die cut with a larger heart die.  Stenciled the background (Artsplorations) with Distress Festive Berries.  Inked the edges of the larger heart with the same ink.

Just Us Girls #806 - Moodboard

 It's time for Moodboard Week at Just Us Girls with Vicki as our fabulous hostess and she has chosen a moodboard filled with inspiration to inspire us!

I was inspired by the arches and the window in the brick.  Pulled out the brick background from an earlier experiment and die cut the arched window.  Die cut the window again from white, backed the opening with a black and white "curtain" and added a scalloped border to the bottom of the shade.  Stamped the cat, colored with alcohol markers and some cream around the cat and adhered it behind the window so he was peeking outside.  Added some berry branches and stamped the Concord and 9th sentiment in black on a piece of patterned paper.

Just Us Girls #805 - Word Week

 It's time for our Word Week Challenge at Just Us Girls with Elizabeth as our amazing hostess and she is challenging us all with the word "Encouragement".  That is something that everyone needs as some point in their lives.

Using an old Gina K set for my sister who is going through yet another surgery on her leg and has a long road of recovery ahead of her.  Colored the frog and the bamboo stalk he is hanging onto with alcohol markers, fussy cut and layered onto a piece of patterned paper.  Die cut with an oval and layered onto a darker green oval.  Pulling a piece of olive colored, textured cardstock out of my huge bin, used that as a base layer and adhered to a white card base.  Stamped the sentiment in a dark olive ink and die cut with a Tim Holtz die from the tags set.

Using a Spellbinders heart coverplate die cut from ivory cardstock.  Backed it with some hot pink glitter paper.  Die cut a large heart from the same glitter paper and added the die cut sentiment, which actually matches better in real life.
