Just Us Girls #608 - Wild Card Week

We have a fifth Saturday this month, so that means it's time for Wild Card Week at Just Us Girls and Bobby has chosen Leaves as our challenge!

First I would like to say Thank You to Nora for joining us this past month as our Guest Designer!     Come on over to JUGS to see all of the beautiful leaves that Nora and the rest of the Design Team have created.

Alcohol inks were used on acetate and then die cut with the leaf dies.  Stamped the grid pattern on the background with a mustard colored ink, stamped the sentiment in Memento Rhubarb Stalk and adhered to an orange card base.

Playing with more acetate.  Using the Concord & 9th Lace Leaf.  Stamped the leaf shadow with Versamark and heat embossed using Stampendous Aged Spice ep on Stampin Up Apricot Appeal cardstock.  Stamped the leaf with Versamark on acetate and heat embossed with gold ep.  Die cut the sentiment and heat embossed with the same Spice ep.  Layered onto some metallic copper and onto a Gina K Honey Mustard card base.

Come play along with us and you could become our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer!  Please limit your entries to 3.

I've never done much with acetate but you've made some beauties here, Sue. The orange leaves on the grid are so whimsical and that large aqua/purple/gold ? leaf is very elegant.

Love how different these two lovely cards are Sue. Time to get those AInks out now it is warmer here and I can play outside on the patio. That second card is the 'bomb'.

WOW! Two gorgeous cards, Sue! I've never used alcohol inks on acetate, but after seeing what you've done here, it's something I should try! Truly lovely!
