Just Us Girls #636 - Trend Week

 It's time for Trend Week at Just Us Girls and Elizabeth has chosen a really fun trend for us this week!

Come check out JUGS to see what Lucie, our June Guest Designer and the rest of the Design Team have created with a moving element.

I started out with a plain white circle and used a really old Gina K Stitches stamp to stamp the stitching on the baseball with red ink.  Stamped the bam type image (not sure what else to call it) and colored in with a dark blue marker on some blue striped paper and the little poufs (?) were colored with white gel pen and then covered with clear Stickles.  The stripes on the background were showing through, so added some Black Diamond Stickles.  Stamped the bat from Gina K's Sporty Accessories, colored and cut it out.  Used a Wobble on the back of the baseball for some movement.

Just Us Girls #635 - Word Week

 It's Word Week at Just Us Girls and Lisa E. has chosen the word Paintbrush!  Lots of room for creativity with this one.

This is the first challenge of the month, which means we have a new Guest Designer!  Please welcome Lucie!  Hop on over to JUGS to see what Lucie and the rest of the amazing Design Team have created with the word Paintbrush as inspiration.

Using a stamp from Unity and colored with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol.  Added a sentiment from Altenew then matted with blue cardstock and onto a green card base.

Just Us Girls #634 - Photo Week

 It's Photo Week at Just Us Girls and Carol Mc has chosen the perfect photo to kick off summer!

Check out JUGS to see what our fabulous Guest Designer Deborah Wheeler and the rest of the Design Team have created with the photo for inspiration.

The image is from Penny Black.  Stamped the bike in black ink and then stamped and heat embossed in pink and silver.  Cut out the fenders seat, handlebars from the pink and the spokes and pedals from the silver and paper pieced it over the black.  The background is by Altenew and stamped with Hero Arts Bubble Gum pink shadow ink.  Basket was colored with alcohol markers and the flowers with gel pens.

Just Us Girls #633 - Color Week

 It's time for Color Week at Just Us Girls and Bobby has chosen a beautiful color combination for us to play with.

I started with some Core'dinations Whitewash in a coral and used a brick embossing folder and sanding off the raised bricks to reveal the coral core.  Added some various floral die cuts in the colors from our challenge and stamped the sentiment in blue on tan cardstock.  Put it all together on to a blue card base.

Just Us Girls #632 - Trend Week

 It's time for Trend Week at Just Us Girls and Carol M. is our hostess and has challenged us to make a shaped card, anything goes except a square or rectangle.

I searched through all of my dies and came up with this game controller.  This took a few tries to get the cut just right.  Pieced together all of the buttons and added the sentiment with a label maker.

 A simple thinking of you card. Inspired by a few challenges:

Using linen cardstock as a base, swiped a Golden Glitz ink pad directly on the base.  Die cut three leafy dies from Simply Graphic in some embossed gold cardstock that's been in my stash for a very long time.  Stamped the sentiment from Mudra with Versamark on black and heat embossed with gold ep.

Just Us Girls #631 - Word Week

 It's time for Word Week at Just Us Girls and Vicki has chosen the perfect word for us this week.

Since this is the beginning of a new month, that means it's time for a new Guest Designer.  A big welcome to Deborah Wheeler!  Check out JUGS to see all the pretty flower creations from Deborah and the rest of the amazing Design Team.

Pretty simple.  Used alcohol inks on some acetate and die cut with a Concord & 9th flower die.  Added a drop of yellow Nuvo Drops to the center.  Adhered to a piece of gray striped paper printed from Melstampz.  Stamped the happy birthday in black and used a word window punch.  Put it together on a yellow card base.
