It's the beginning of a new month and it's time for Word Week at Just Us Girls and Nancy has chosen the word Mammals to inspire us!

I pulled out an older Gina K set and used the opossum image hanging on the branch. Love the animals in this set so perfect for Hang in There. Colored the critter and branch with Prismacolor markers and added some die cut leaves dipped into some Lindy's Magicals and lightly spritzed with water. Layered onto some dark orange polka paper and onto a gray card base.

Cute card Sue! He looks like he is spying back at you from your window! I like how you added the leaves...at first I thought they were part of the stamp! Fun colors too!!!

Whether my squirrels or your opossum, sometimes we need a card that says "Hang in There". Mine has already gone off to a friend who is having a rough time. I love the layered look, especially the polka dots.
