It's the first Saturday of the month and that means it's time for our Word Week Challenge at Just Us Girls. Vicki has chosen the word Butterflies.
Since this is the start of a new month, that means it's time for a new Guest Designer. Please welcome Catherine Roffey! Check out JUGS to see all of the beautiful butterflies by Catherine and the rest of the amazing Design Team.
Die cut the floral heart out of the center of a white panel. Die cut the striped heart from some purple and backed it with a very old piece of patterned paper. Added the die cut and colored flowers to the edge of the heart. The butterfly that was die cut from black and covered with black Stickles. Traced the butterfly onto some purple vellum and cut it out to back the black frame. Stamped the sentiment in purple and die cut the banner. Used the same purple cardstock for the base.
Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer! Please limit your entries to 3.
I'm also entering this at "Less is More" with the theme of Butterflies.

I love the striped heart layered behind the floral one, Sue. So much added dimension and texture. The purple vellum wings are amazing.
Gorgeous sparkly details on your butterfly, thankyou for the warm welcome too, Cathy x
Wow what a stunner Sue. Love how you put this beautiful card together. The heart background looks amazing and that butterfly in purple vellum highlighted in black is just awesome. I bet it looks so good irl.
