It's Photo/Moodboard Week at Just Us Girls and here is the awesome Moodboard selected by Carol for our inspiration.
Check out JUGS to see what our Guest Designer Stephanie Lanzalotto and the rest of our Design Team have created with this Moodboard as inspiration.
I stamped the apple from Gina K with orange and red Distress Oxide inks going for a blended look. Masked the apple and stamped the green leaf shadow from Concord & 9th in Pistachio Memento ink the stamped the sentiment from another Concord & 9th set in black. Die cut the panel with a pierced edge rectangle die. Inked the edges of a white card base with the same Pistachio ink.
Come play along with us and you could be chosen as our next Chic of the Week, which would then make you eligible at a chance to become our next Guest Designer! Please limit your entries to 3.

Sue, this apple card is so cute! I love that smoosh behind it and I have been thinking about getting that pierced ede rectangle for a while. Nice fall card that could also be a teacher card too!!!!
A beautiful CAS design with your bright red apple and lovely stenciled leaf shadow - pretty pierced edge panel! Julia xx
Fun fed apple!
I love the crisp apple against the grunge background. I was wondering if you masked it and I read that you did. Great CAS card, Sue.
Cute CAS card, Sue!
What a great way to use the C & 9th leaf as a background for your sweet apple! I need to keep that leaf in mind when I'm looking for pretty shadows/backgrounds. Fabulous card!

Totally delicious apple Sue and I am loving your creative smooched background. Great match for the card base.
Wonderful CAS card, Sue. What a great idea to ink the cardbase edges to match the leaf so it shows through the pierced panel.
