 It's Photo/Moodboard Week at Just Us Girls and Lisa E. has chosen a fabulous Moodboard full of inspiration.

Using Concord & 9th's Be Mine stamp set.  Stamped the jar of jam once on white then again on a pink striped scrap and paper pieced it onto the jar.  Colored the lid with a pink marker and the jam in the jar with a Glaze Gel Pen.  Stamped the striped piece with Hero Arts Raspberry ink.  Die cut some small hearts and colored with the same Raspberry ink.

Just Us Girls #687

 Nancy is our fabulous hostess this week at Just Us Girls for Word Week and she has chosen the word Seashells!  You can use shells for so many different occasions.

Started with a white panel and embossed with a splattery unknown ef the spritzed with shimmer sprays in blue and tan.  Die cut the unbranded fishnet and inked with Distress Ink in Antique Linen.  The shells from and very old SU set - Stippled Shells were stamped, colored and fussy cut.  Added the sentiment from an old Gina K set stamped with Memento Espresso Truffle ink onto a scrap leftover from another project.

Just Us Girls #686

 It's Color Week at Just Us Girls and the very talented Elizabeth is challenging us to create with only Pastels!  There are so many options with this color combination.

The start of a new month means that we have a new Guest Designer!  Please welcome very talented Kristin Sluhan who will be joining us for the month of July!  Now, hop on over to JUGS to see what Kristin and the rest of the amazing Design Team have created using pastels.

Using an unbranded embossing folder I inked it with Distress Oxide Speckled Egg and ran through my Big Shot.  Added pink, yellow and green Oxide inks to the raised areas.  Die cut the butterfly from Memory Box then traced onto a piece of vellum.  Colored the vellum with alcohol markers in yellow and orange and adhered to the backside of the die cut.  Added the sentiment from PinkFresh stamped in a medium blue ink.

Just Us Girls #685 - CAS Week

 It's time for CAS Week at Just Us Girls and Elizabeth has chosen a fabulous challenge for us "Thinking of You".  This type of card can be used for so many different situations and always good to have on hand.

Using a watercolor background I made a while ago, added come shimmer spray and embossed a piece of it.  Placed behind the die cut oval on a white panel.  Die cut the Concord & 9th butterfly from black then traced around the die cut and fussy cut another piece of the watercolor background without the shimmer.  Heat embossed the sentiment on some vellum and die cut with a banner die.  Put it together on a white card base.

That little blue striped cottage definitely jumped right out at me!  I didn't have any stamps or dies of little houses/cottages, so I had to create my own.  I die cut a blue stenciled square and one from some blue/gray and trimmed what I needed to make the cottage and roof then used a scrap of white to make the door.  First I ink blended the sand and sky and used a speckled stamp to add texture to the sand and then adhered the cottage to a white card base.  Finished it off by stamping the little seagulls in the sky.

 It's time for Word Week at Just Us Girls and Ina has chosen Hello for us this week.

Pretty simple.  I used an unbranded as far as I know, die of the daisy and frame.  Cut 3 times and layered.  Colored with Touch Twin markers, adhered to a blue slim panel, then stamped the sentiment.  Then adhered to a white mini-slimline card base.

 It's time for Color Week at Just Us Girls and our fabulous hostess Vicki has chosen a beautiful color combo to inspire us.

I would like to welcome our June Guest Designer - TK!  Hop on over to JUGS to see what TK and the rest of the amazing Design Team have created with this color combo.

This is the Mother's Day card I sent to my daughter who is a fantastic mom!  First did some ink blending in the purple and blue Distress Inks over the entire background.  Next inked the embossing folder with Distress Oxide Hickory Smoke and ran through my Big Shot giving this a light gray background.  Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of vellum and used some very old Vintage Violet from SU for the card base.
