It's Color Week at Just Us Girls and Lisa E. is our lovely hostess and she has chosen a beautiful color combo for our inspiration - Aqua and Apricot.

Started with the striped paper from my stash in the perfect colors. Die cut the happy from the patterned paper and then stamped birthday directly on the stripes. Added the die cut balloons and colored the pieces and placed them back inside the die cut. Put it all together having one of the strings going through the H onto an SU Apricot Appeal card base.
This one is a new, unbranded floral background stamp colored with watercolor pens. Placed the die cut white frame over the flowers and added a die cut happy and stamped birthday strip and again used an Apricot Appeal card base.

Wow! A twe-fer of these wonderful colors. I love all the stripes in the first. That patterned paper is just perfect. Love the balloons die and the darker shades of the challenge colors. The floral card is absolutely gorgeous and the white frame really brings out the colors beautifully. I am thrilled to be designing with you and your team for September. Thanks for having me!

That striped paper was indeed perfect, Sue, and so is its match to the card base. The floral card is lovely and another great way to use the colors.
